LovelyAries86 | So why exactly is Jupiter in Fall in Capricorn? Are they highly susceptible to much hardship & emotional pain? At least in the early parts of their lives? What would you say their greatest asset is? |
Kerosene | LolFrom what I noticed Jupiter in various signs still carry positive qualities if that sign since it's so expansive. Assuming it's making contact personal the positive influence of that sign is greater. My Jupiter is in Virgo and aspects like all my personals planets I'm quite analytic about things I use empirical reasoning over intuition. The positive thing is I never make any mistakes that have consequences. Virgo is about perfectionism. We can argue certain signs have more advantages than others. I guess u can apply the same concept to cap |

Do you personally feel that to "work hard" or "serve others" is your ONLY way to receive favor? Like luck rarely just comes looking for you? Take off your Gemini-Venusian glasses for a moment and let me know. I'm curious. I would like to know how Cap (and Virgo) Jupiter people feel about their placement. The good & the bad. |
Kerosene | Yeah I don't mind "serving others" No I don't do it out of the goodness of my heart, I'm not a saint lol. I don't expect that much besides love and friendship. by love I mean spoiling me ohhh an giving gifts is nice too, no they don't have to be expensive. I just when people gift me. It's nice like I help everyone just people I feel bad for and I do sort of go above and beyond which is probably jupiter expansive energy.I feel that's how I get lucky is being helpful to others. People give me opportunities because they feel like provided them with someone most people wont really bother doing. Like when I taught someone how to cook because I felt bad that they didn't particularly have a nurturing environment where families cook together.. so basically they fell love with me and really spoiled me and gave me nice things and pretty much provided me with anything I could of ever wanted. This was lucky for me because I was broke ass hell growing up.. It's not like I took so much advantage of this. I venus square jupiter exact, so I have do have a philosophy if you do nice things for others than nice things will happen to you too. it's like give and take. If someone does something for you, buy them a drink etc. so what about jupiter in cap? My mom has jupiter in cap 29 degrees and is crazy about her career lol |

Thank you sharing. Your experience (Jup Virgo) doesn't sound bad. I definitely believe in "Do unto others as you want done to you". Has your Mom had many bumps in the road with her career?

AlexDern | Jup in Cap was once in fall because in the old days being honest didn't pay. Being miserly didn't pay either. In the old days there was little law and structure (capricorn) But more than anything today capricorn rules the bunch - i.e. banks insurance and corporations run things for better or worst so in the modern era Jupiter in capricorn is exhalted, and the best placement for working your way to the top As a consequence, the native feels their luck comes when they work...if they don't work they start to go crazy and things fall apart... The type of work will depend in the house... For example jupiter in the eighth in capricorn will be honest and austere in business and in shared resources...in the third, it will be honest and austere about communication. etc...etc... |
theunknown | I have virgo jupiter too. It's make me more humble than other jupiter placement as I'm critical, analytical and pick up little details every where. I don't mind my jupiter at all |
visions | lol it seems by reading you that jupiter in virgo is quite exalted or at home...it might hurt you but Wake up guys jupiter is in detriment in virgo....... even with my jupiter exalted in cancer and well aspected i don't brag about as much as what i read here. lots of virgo vanity here... |
hodad | One usually thinks of Jupiter as fat and jolly, just a happy go-lucky guy.He does seem to express his more optimistic side in the fire signs, especially Sagittarius. There are positives to Jupiter in every sign.Capricorn can be so serious and Jupiter in Cap can take the fun out of everything.Let's just say you can get a positive outcome by using your more practical serious side. You should be well organized at least! Jupiter in Virgo can be a real downer.Jupiter likes to expand and Virgo, not so much--- |

Look to Saturn first. When you do your Saturn you will reap the benefits of your Jupiter. This would probably be extra important for Jupiter in Capricorn, which is ruled by Saturn, hence the "fall" connotation would align with this.

It's usually a matter of timing in the cycle of things. Yes, it gets easier once the karmic nature of Saturn is worked out, and Jupiter benefits arrive. It's easier to navigate life when you understand the fated nature of experiences. |

What would you say their greatest asset is?
Ability to achieve great success, with integrity and responsibility, in the area of Jupiter's house placement, once they grow up according to the lessons of Saturn's placement (house and sign). |
PlutoSurvivor | The charts I have seen with Jupiter in Capricorn have a theme pertaining to control and assertion through sexuality, and reputation issues. I'm not sure if this is always the case, but because of the "karmic" nature of Saturn and Capricorn it seems as though this might be found in general. The charts I have seen show many supporting aspects and placements for this. |

You could say Jupiter is not comfortable in Capricorn because it is the home of Saturn. So what Saturn might do is squash Jupiter's good time. It's like a kiljoy to Jupiter. So the person who has Jupiter in Capricorn could be quite stern and dour. They could feel guilty about having a good time. Their higher education might be limited because of circumstances in their life in which they have no control. They could be self made without help from anyone, strictly relying on themselves for their success. They might have a disdain for anything that isn't pragmatic or they feel they cannot get something out of. This could be a very conservative person, rigid in their beliefs and philosophy, and they could expect everyone to conform to their way of thinking and conducting their life. They might experience emotional pain through hardship but they become austere and adept at handling life's difficult circumstances without showing their feelings. Could be a survivalist type. Or, it could be someone who runs a large corporation or business of some kind, where they have to put their personal lives on hold for the sake of their careers. Most likely they have ambition and drive in obtaining power and money. Might have been forced to take on responsibility at a young age so they feel they never had the opportunity to be carefree. Their asset is their ability to adapt to difficulties and hardships. They can be good managers. They have a sense of how to finesse situations so they are trusted to run things, eventually and they never seem to become spoiled by their successes. They remain in touch with reality regardless. The most extreme form of this placement could be like the character Mr Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. |
